Ring type joint flange gaskets (RTJ gaskets) are used in applications that involve extreme pressures and high temperatures. All Ring type joint gaskets are manufactured in compliance with API-6A and ANSI B16.20 specifications.

All RTJ Gasket sizes and materials to the standards listed. We also manufacture customers' proprietary designs where confidentiallity agreements.

Ring joint types

• R type (oval and octagonal) solid sections and. RX and BX with complex bevelled edge sections .

• Non Std Custom design Gaskets, Lens sections, convex, wedge, double cone, .

Materials

• Standard: soft iron. low carbon steel, all Grades of Stainless Steel , and Low alloy material.

• Non-standard: high nickel alloys, super alloy steels, and additional stainless steels.

Ancillary components

• PTFE inner rings - for sitting in the cavity between flange bore and ring joint to reduce turbulence and flange erosion.

• Rubber coated ring joints - soft iron ring joint gaskets encapsulated in nitrile rubber for testing wellhead assemblies and valves. Rings can be reused and do not damage flange grooves.
